This is clearly a configuration of the FTP server to do so. Thus the answer is simply "you can't". You probably want to submit this to IBM as an enhancement request.
There may be legal reasons why you do not want to publish the version of
the OS. NDA possibly.
Apart from that, security by obscurity has proven many times that it helps only short term. Todays ease to build "bots" trying known ways to trigger an exploit render hiding possible hints towards the underlying OS and FTP implementation mostly moot.
