Hello,

We have a remote developer that is using Linux for their hardware.
We tried the IBM ACS ODBC for Linux but he has problems getting the secure connection. I have a trusted CA and assigned it to the host servers and telnet.
What is "the secure connection"? You're talking about ODBC but also a developer. Do you want to secure the ODBC connection via TLS or something else?
In general, you need to obtain a copy of the root CA in PEM format and save this in /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/myrootca.crt (example name) of the Linux install. Afterwards, run the update-ca-certificates command. This should make sure the client has no certificate chain issues.
