Hi Michael
I think you are looking at something else- Jim is asking about how to identify the country where the machine was built, and that has been the first 2 digits of the serial number.
Lots of good stuff on your blog, however!
Cheers
Vern

Where can I find a table of IBM Country of Origin Codes? For example if my serial number is 7512345 then where can I find out what country is 75?
And, yes, 75 is the country I'm looking for in this example. The 12345 is redacted info.
