The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

You want to float the $ sign and have it preceded by asterisks?
Or, fixed $ sign and asterisk fill - like the example shown here?
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.2?topic=word-currency-symbol
If the former, I don't think so, but you could do it with a combo of %editw()and a find/substring operation to create a character field with the result.
Good candidate for a sub-procedure.

Subject: Edit word question
Question: Is it possible to code an edit word such that you get *both* a
floating dollar sign *and* asterisk fill?
And if so, how?
