× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

For one thing, it mimics installations that users would have. Also by using the “all users” approach, the directories tend to be more consistent with the naming etc, allowing for automated approaches to manage it. When users pick their own directories, that can be an exciting experience fixing things.

With the pace of updates (IBM please don’t slow down) you have to be ready for updates quite often leading to some innovative ways of managing the software.
