The file for which I was interested in generating SQL source (thanks, Javier) has something I've never seen before, and once I knew which haystack to look in, it just about jumped out at me, without my having to recreate the file locally:
It has a packed decimal field that's 40 digits long!
When did DB2/400 get 40-digit numbers?
