Hi Vern,
That's the case with any feature request. But, a change so large in
scope should not be a one-size-fits-all. I think that this will upset
and possibly alienate quite a few customers.

Using "everybody else does likewise" is just laughable. As if IBM
needed to care what others do. They could just offer both options.
I believe this is only to maximize revenue to IBM to benefit their
shareholders. As almost always nowadays.
