Personally, as long as this works for you and you feel comfortable that great.
My sol point is there usually coming a day, when IBM creates an enhancement) or improvement and playing catch up usually is more difficult and costly.

"Started" on what? I *loved* WRQ Reflection (at least the version we had
here at Touchtone), and considered it to be the gold standard for
terminal emulation aesthetics. I remember it looking *exactly* like a
*real InfoWindow II* terminal.

I should think that as long as your emulators are connected via TN5250
or TN5250e, they should be fine. All bets are off, however, if they're
connected via some older IBM-proprietary protocol.

(And yes, as a matter of fact, my office still contains a 3477-FA, a
3489, and a Twinax Affirmative Yestation, all in working order (the 3477
has a balky power switch, and the Yestation is *generally* balky, but
they all still function).
