Re: New version of ACS ... 1.1.9.3 -- MIDRANGE-L

I always start out here:

Then I pick Updates, Latest Updates.
That should fill you in.
However, if anyone has prettier info I'm all ears. Something like a:

1. Tim Rowe / Scott Forstie presentation
2. YouTube showing use of the latest
3. Something in the format of the presentations used for the semiannual
TR announcements.

Just a little thing but being able to click on a link in a comment and have
it navigate to that page is kind of cool. Like either of the following:

You guys know me well. If it wasn't shown, I wouldn't have posted about it.

I posted on LinkedIn as well and had to also add the caveat there that ACS
showed an update when I opened it yesterday. There was also a note about it
on ITJungle on Doug Bidwell's PTF Update article.

Go to "Downloads for IBM i Access Client Solutions. Logon and V1.1.9.3 is
now listed.

I have "update notification" turned on via "edit", "preferences".
When I tried to download it from the "update" message, 1.1.9.2 is the

Same here. This is a recurring topic in this group that there seems to be a
mechanism delaying update notifications. Maybe IBM is concerned that we
overwhelm their servers when we all do updates at the same time. ;-)
