Hey all,
I am working on my 170 running V4R4 and trying to get CODE/400 up on a
Windows box- for some reason I am unable to authenticate to Samba shares
on the 170 using either of my accounts. I'm able to see a message in
QSYSOPR's msgq that the Network Neighborhood components started
properly, so the service should be running. This issue persists across
reboots of the machine and restarts of the host servers, so I am
guessing some sort of misconfiguration. This worked previously without
any manual intervention on my parts so I'm unsure what the issue is.
In Wireshark I am able to see my user being denied access to the IPC$
share, while I am trying to access the QDLS and QIBM shares
specifically. I've been unable to find any NetServer configuration
menus, and the GO NETS command does not exist in an OS400 version this
old. Both TCPIP and the host servers are configured and running happily.
This time it's not the firewall, I haven't reenabled that yet. :)
Thanks again!
