Hello,
We have the need to see how program objects were compiled, ahead of an upgrade of our ERP system. Specifically, we want to see if all the programs in a specific library were compiled with FIXNBR(*ZONED), so that if any were not we can recompile. Anyone know of one of the system tables that might contain this info? Any information is most appreciated. Thanks!
There is nothing visible in the module or program object to indicate
that FIXNBR(*ZONED) was used for the compile. The FIXNBR parameter value
just affects how the compiler generates the program; it doesn't become
an attribute of the compiled object.
You mentioned the debug view. Assuming the program has not been changed
by CHGPGM RMVOBS(*DBGDTA), you can see the debug views by starting the
debugger and using F15 to see the available views.
There is also a DEBUG_DATA column in BOUND_MODULE_INFO, but it doesn't
indicate which debug views were requested.
