Not wrong. The environment has changed between the time the object was created and now. The program reference information is not dynamic; it is not a model of the system as it now exists. The program reference information is static - it is a model of each object at the moment it was created/updated. Not wrong: different.

And if that is the case then how can we get reference correctly for the
specific Program object which keeps calling multiple programs ?

The answer that many, many, many of us have chosen: Buy a professional cross reference package.

Yes, you can assemble some of this cross reference information from system-provided APIs, utilities, and SQL functionality, but you need to adjust your expectations accordingly.
