For a less "drastic" solution, in this case since you know your programs all run in a named AG, e.g. "QILE", you can just issue:

   RCLACTGRP ACTGRP(QILE)

Thank you for the response. It does free up any locks. It is quicker
and smoother than signing off and signing back on again.

But it's a little drastic. I would rather not lose my place in PDM, for example.

Also, I don't have any idea what a "routing step" is or how to make use of them.
