Lot of the usual tricks vary on whether or not this is a single lpar
machine, whether the ethernet is virtualized by VIOS, etc
For example, one could do a WRKLIND and look at the resource name. Then
you could do a
WRKHDWRSC TYPE(*CMN)
to find that resource. Then you could do a "7=Display resource detail" and
that should tell you what card and what port.
In our case though we'd have to tie that back to VIOS by using the HMC and
then chase that down.

Suggested HMC ports vary by the model and then looking up the manual for
that model. Often they are clearly marked as shown in this example:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/power10/9105-42A?topic=use-cabling-server-hmc
Your general purpose ethernet port(s) tend to be in card slots as named in
the WRKHDWRSC *CMN like this:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/power10/9105-42A?topic=adapter-preparing-system

I "think" T0 and T1 in this diagram are the HMC ports

Fellow Midrange Geeks:

Would anybody happen to know which Ethernet port is the main port, and
which one is the console port?
