Did you get it fixed?
I guess that it's not how you compile it but when you use it.
The GO command is allowed to execute only interactively because it involves
screen stream I/O, and obviously you cannot "GO" and show a screen in a
batch job.
Compiling that program, it's strange that doing it in batch is validating
the use of the GO command. It should compile. When you use it that is the
issue. There is when you would get an error.

IMHO,

Darryl,

IIRC, you have to simply compile it "interactively" not "in batch".

That is, run the CRTCLPGM or CRTBNDCL command interactively.

Hope that helps,

I get this message and the compile fails. The CLLE program is simple:

PGM
ADDLIBLE LIB1
ADDLIBLE LIB2

GO MENU01

ENDPGM.

The error indicates that the program cannot be run in a batch
environment and that is agreed but how are we supposed to create these
programs?

Its been ages since I had this problem and do not remember how to work
around it.

TIA, Darryl Freinkel.
