Hi Gad,

STRDBG has separate parameters for program and service program.  If you're just debugging a service program, leave the program parm *NONE and enter the name of your service program in the appropriate parameter.

Hello guys

I'm having trouble debugging a stored procedure although preparing it the
right way (me think)

a. there is a SET OPTION DBGVIEW = *SOURCE after the
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE TEST_SP statement
b. a *SRVPGM object named TEST_SP (with Attr. CLE) was created alright
c. STRDBG LIBA/TEST_SP gets me the following MSG:
CPF1912 Program TEST_SP in library LIBA cannot be accessed
d. adding a DBGVIEW(*SOURCE) to the RUNSQLSTMT creating the SP is of no
help.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Gad
