By default both commands are *PUBLIC *ALL and Allow limited user . . . . .
. . . . . : *NO.
So I would not be surprised if they've seen this thread and lock down
netstat also.
With that in mind you may wish to consider the NETSTAT* family of services
available at:

If you want to see which levels of IBM i support them look at:

I like IBM command naming convention but if I have to use the same command
on multiple OS's I will use the common one, like netstat.
