I had to deal with that recently, and I didn't have to do that. What I do
think it takes effect is only when creating new TCP/IP listeners or
clients, maybe you would have to bring down and up services that are
already listening or client connections that are established and not closed.

When changing the TCPIP send and receive buffer sizes, the CHGTCPA
indicates that the change is immediate. Does anything need to be done with
the active ethernet lines? Vary off/on or recreate to get benefit of the
larger buffer sizes?
