We have recently converted a couple of sites from telnet on port 23 to a
TLS connection on port 992
All is working fine and we are about to change the telnet attributes to
not allow port 23 connections.
One possible issue is for support we will sometimes log on to our system
remotely and then use telnet to connect to another system, when we disable
port 23 how can we establish a TLS connection from the command line.
I tried telnet <system> port (992) but that did not work.
Thanks for any suggestions
