Thanks Jim,

I don't know what I was doing when I used option 1 from the work with
TCP/Ip routes but when I used the addtcprte command it just added the
route.

Work with TCP/IP Routes
System:
Type options, press Enter.
1=Add 2=Change 4=Remove 5=Display

Route Subnet Next Preferred
Opt Destination Mask Hop Interface

*DFTROUTE *NONE 10.95.239.254 *NONE
*DFTROUTE *NONE 172.16.0.1 172.16.0.200

Cheers

Don

We've been doing this for years.

See:
Work with TCP/IP Interfaces
Sy
Type options, press Enter.
1=Add 2=Change 4=Remove 5=Display 9=Start 10=End

Internet Subnet Line Line
Opt Address Mask Description Type

127.0.0.1 255.0.0.0 *LOOPBACK *NONE
172.29.250.15 255.255.255.0 ETHLIN *ELAN
172.29.250.70 255.255.255.0 ETHLIN *ELAN
192.168.10.2 255.255.255.0 ETHLIN *ELAN

Now the extra route:

Work with TCP/IP Routes
System: V7R3
Type options, press Enter.
1=Add 2=Change 4=Remove 5=Display

Route Subnet Next Preferred
Opt Destination Mask Hop Interface

*DFTROUTE *NONE 172.29.250.1 *NONE
*DFTROUTE *NONE 192.168.10.1 192.168.10.2

Can be the same Ethernet port or another, no matter.

Now the traffic will go out the intended port.

Then you need a default route for each line, and I would add the
preferred
interface on the second one.

I'm curious how this can work at all as intended. See my in-detail
explanation in this thread.
