Hi Gad,

What we have done to solve this is to allow the command to have special
values like

*TODAY
*CURYEAR
*CURMONTH
etcetera

Then in the called program check the parameter passed and set the value as
required.

Note: if the date is important you may want to check the submit job date
rather than the system date in case the job was on a queue past midnight.
