A little of both. IBM seems to follow "the book" to a T in most cases.. so
if a suite is deemed obsolete, IBM will as well. While most others let it
slide for a while.

I've had to do the same as you. I just recently switched all my SSL
settings back to *OPSYS. so far so good.
