Thanks, Mark. That is the syntax I was looking for.

However, in the process of experimenting, I discovered some really odd
behavior. When the member name is 9 or 10 characters, whether it has a
dot in the name or not, if I *lowercase* the name (which, yes, I know,
will never work), a very unexpected (to me) error comes up: SQL0107,
name too long, max 10 characters.

If the name is 8 characters or less, then using lowercase and quotes
fails in the expected way, which is that the SQL is considered valid,
but the member is simply not found (SQL0204).
