We have a developer that is running a CLLE "job stream" to run jobs which
are normally submitted via the job scheduler. He wrote it so he didn't have
to submit the programs one at a time like he should.
This "job stream" program runs in the default activation group. It calls
several CLLE "job" programs (these are the individual CLLE programs
submitted by the job scheduler) which call several RPGLE programs. I
believe that all of these "job" CLLE and RPGLE programs have activation
group of "PGM". These RPGLE programs call a service program with an
activation group of "SERVICE".
I am trying to figure out a problem for him and I think it is related to
values in the service program that were set by a previous RPGLE program
calling it.
When do the variables in the "SERVICE" activation group get reset? Is it at
the end of every RPGLE program, at the end of each CLLE "job" program, or
only at the end of the "job stream" CLLE?
