The HMC can give you want you want unless you want constant monitoring. Just sign on to the HMC and use the graphical interface. It's a good indicator. The performance monitors in Navigator can also assist.

WKRSYSACT will also tell you some of that information but is limited to the partition you run it on, although if you sleuth a little you can get most of the data. WRKSYSACT should only run for a short time, and only one user (with very high authority) can run it at one time.

Subject Processor usage

Does anyone know how I can tell what percentage of each processor in a multi-processor system is used on a regular basis?

For example, if I have a two processors enabled on a system with four processors installed, I would need to know if the two processors [hopefully alone or combined] would have a usage at 50% or more, or less than 20%, and then which processor is doing the most work.
