We never fully implemented Kerberos.
This was our resolution:
<snip>
There was a file /QIBM/UserData/OS400/NetworkAuthentication/krb5.conf, that had some invalid server refences in it, that we believe might have contributed to some error messages noticed after the last downtime (2 days ago). The errors also talk about Kerberos, which we don't believe we use anymore. This file appears to be unique on GDIHQ, as GDIHQ2 and GDISYS both had their file mostly commented. This file is most likely related to server communications, at least partly with communication to PC servers from GDIHQ.

So, I've copied in the default file to the above mentioned location, and renamed the previous file as krb5.conf.bak. Results so far looked good, but, I mention this in case recovery becomes necessary, or some new error crops up after this date/time.
