I've been doing a parallel save for a long time. 3 drives.
9/06/22 23:30:02 Begin processing for control group TUE_FRIEDD type *BKU.
9/07/22 2:09:16 Control group TUE_FRIEDD type *BKU processing is complete
Normally runs in 2.5 hours.
IBM wanted me to run a serial save because of a case I'm working on.
9/07/22 10:43:03 Begin processing for control group TESTSINGLE type *BKU.
9/07/22 17:11:15 Control group TESTSINGLE type *BKU processing is complete
Took about 6.5 hours.
On the phone with IBM. They say that's a typical result difference between 3 drives and 1.
Get ye to parallel save ASAP!!!
Especially if you are using BRMS and VTL and BRMS can do all the busy work for you.
