We have a system that uses RS233 ports that our iSeries speaks to. Old proprietary system that does not support IP connectivity. PITA.
Oh I did get the YUM to work. Took some configuration on our firewall to allow access to the IBM sites as well as an upgrade of YUM and install of the CA store.
But I now have Node.js installed:
