From what I remember the baluns, like twinax, only use two of the wires.In fact most baluns have a small slot you can stick a small screwdriver in and pry off the cover which wraps around it. Once you do that you have two screws. This allows you to bypass the RJ jacks completely. Think your wires are crossed? Simply swap them on one balun. Some google twinax balun searching shows pictures of this. We used to make wire and could use 2 wire jacketed for this.
