My knee-jerk reaction to such things is similar ... we keep "lowering the
Cone of Silence" (Maxwell Smart) so to speak until it gets hard to get work
done.
BUT ...
We all individually these days have so many online accounts that we may not
visit for years at a time!
Frankly, I'm *glad* they're all adding MFA because I don't want to discover
years later I've been impersonated on some seemingly trivial venue and
discover real harm has been done.
