What are the best practices for encryption key rotation for VTLs? Especially how often do you rotate?
There are only 7 tapes we have marked permanent. The rest will all expire within a year. Our quarterly full system saves are only kept 372 days. Basically just long enough to have a few days overlap from the same quarterly save of the previous year.
