I had not thought of that, the customer does not want open source either.

But, that's delivered with the OS and its parts, so I'll bet that's OK.
Just tried it and shazam,
Thanks for the idea.....

Thanks Brad. I'm trying to find a way to document a process for the
customer, and they do not want to use a PC in the middle.

I got the email working by using the OpenSSL in the windows ubuntu to
download the certificate, but nope, the customer won't accept that
method.

Did you try to run openssl from a QSH, a PASE session or an ssh session
against the IBM i?

login as: DIMARCO
Server refused our key

Sometimes I think strict adherence to an IBM i only methodology is more
damaging to the platform than helpful.

Lord help them if they decide to start building print overlays.....

Do you just need the CAs to import?

Has anyone successfully managed to get the SSL certificate from gmail

the QMGTOOLS options: 7, 1,1? "Retrieve SSL Certificate"

I've tried multiple times and it just seems to not work. The customer
will
not allow me to put Brad's tooling on to overcome this problem. (my
hourly
charges have far exceeded the three year cost of those tools too....)
