Or have a long string that can contain a semicolon seperated list of
directory structures that could also be wild carded...
Exclude directory and files (wild cards allowed) . . : /tmp;
/home/*/temp/; *.tmp; *.zip; /*/*qry

That way its simple and uses the same kinds of expansion that most
people are used to from *nix's.
