Ok group, I'm so close to having the new IBM i up and going... one more
thing to get working.
Whenever I open a Windows File Explorer and try to go to \\QIBMSERVER<
file://QIBMSERVER>, I'm shown the files/folders on our old box, should be
the new.
I've changed IP addresses on both systems, and changed the system name on
both boxes with chgneta (old one is now OLD400, new is now IBMSERVER) and
re-IPLed both systems. I can see that both are renamed in dspneta. If I
ping old400, it returns the IP of the old box. If I ping QIBMSERVER,
returns the IP address of the old box (should be the new). If I ping
IBMSERVER, cannot find host.
I've gone thru the CFGTCP options, they appear to match up on both boxes.
What else should I be checking / changing?
Blessings
Tom
