Hi Rob
You say
I'm about to stop using it again if they don't add SQL to it.
You do know about the CL command - RUNSQL - right
Or are you looking for something else?

I went through a stage where I wouldn't use CL. I'd bury commands into RPG instead.
Then they added the structured programming to CL and I started using it again.
I'm about to stop using it again if they don't add SQL to it.

I used to use it quite a bit back in the V3/V4 days, but so much has been
added to the system that I ran out of excuses to use it. The real hammer
fell when we got subroutines and do while/do until in CL. Anything CL
can't do Python can so, I don't see the need for it anymore. Cool
language though......

I keep this REXX script handy
That's very nice, just tried it.
Now I know there are at least 2 people who do Rexx on IBM i :)
