Data Characters
Data characters can be placed in the data stream following the WTD control
characters. The data characters are generally greater than or equal to X '20' and
less than or equal to X' FE' . X' FF' is not a valid data character.
The null character (X' 00 '), duplicate character (X' 1 C '), field mark character
(X' 1 E '), ideographic shift-in (X 'OE'), and ideographic shift-out (X' OF*) are valid
data characters.
