Hi everyone
We are on V7r3
As the subject describes
Is there a limit as to the number of files an RPGILE program can process?
If so - any idea what that limit is?
The reason why I am asking is that a change was made to a particular program back in February of this year and a file was inserted into rge logic
Just recently, we have been receiving complaints of how slow this program has become
As we have recently deleted some older records on a number of files, we have re-orged (RGZPFM) a number of the files used by this program thinking that the number of deleted records may have been the reason why - but it looks like that was not the case
This program has a LARGE number of files defined in F specs, I was wondering if the new file may have been the final straw

Any and all responses gratefully accepted
