Hi Rich, I just want to make sure that your code is completely fixed.

In the code you posted, &APIERR was just a character string, so it would contain blanks. If you didn't post your real code, and it is actually defined to have the first four bytes represent an integer value between 0 and 50, then that's good.

But if you're still passing blanks for that variable, it's only working by accident. There's the potential of data corruption in the future for your other variables since the API would think the error code parameter is huge. There's possibly already data corruption happening, but your program isn't using those variables any more so it doesn't matter. (Cue Scary-Music) ... It doesn't matter YET ...
