It took a little longer to stop mirroring, do the migration (not really an
upgrade), then start mirroring again, but in the end it all worked smoothly.

But, and a big one, if you do not know AIX and/or Linux commands you might
want to get help with it. Since V2 has been out of support for quite some
time, I hope everyone has already crossed that bridge.

If you read that, do it carefully. If you use VIOS, it has a minimum level
on it. Many folks I am aware of are afraid of the V2 to V3 upgrade in
VIOS, since it is a bit more intense than just putting on a service pack.
Beware of the dependencies!!!!! That also filters down to the HMC levels.
What they don't say in that document is far more important than what they
do say.......
