This is exactly why I asked if DNS_LOOKUP requires that product.

Oh, as far as DNS bind goes... We had a discussion between us on the list about open source products being required as part of base IBM products. Remember that? You were basically saying that the open source stuff was simply for new exciting addons opening up a whole realm of possibilities? I was saying nope it's now part of the base OS requirements too.
