I need to send a CSV file from the I via a sharepoint. The only example I have found there uses curl:

New to sharepoint, new to curl. A co-worker asked me why I am using curl, my answer is the only example I found uses it.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Um, the forum thread you linked to also has RPG examples using Scott
Klement's HTTPAPI, if that's preferable to curl at your shop.

(I don't think there's much technical reason to choose one over the
other. Personally, I find the curl approach to be less hassle, though
the example using CL in that Code400 thread unnecessarily explodes the
number of variables, thus drastically increasing the number of lines
of code.)
