Darryl

Take a look at the manual at https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ssw_ibm_i_71/books/sc415703.pdf, esp. chapters 11 and 12, which have a lot to say about how Query 400 queries are converted. Most, if not all, of your questions should be answered. Summary reports don't convert directly very well, as I recall - the OLAP functions could be used as the SELECT in the resulting QMQRY source.

Also, when you do the RTVQMQRY for one of those that have summary, check the job log for QWM* messages - I think you should see some, especially about extra columns added, or other things.

Regards
Vern

Thank you. STRQM made a huge difference.

Now I am working on how to resolve migrating over a summary qry into QMQRY.
It seems it does not do the summary options.

In the first option of that menu you can add BREAAK levels, editng,,
change column headers.

How many people use QMQRY?

I migrated a few *QRYDFN to *QMQRYs but the migration produces
different
results, example, there is no simple way to run a summary query.
