Hi,

I assume you do not have the double quotes in ACS.
ACS will give a "No database proposals" if it can not figure out what you
want. Your statement has to be a valid one bar the missing bit like fields
of files etc.
1. Do you have QCUSTCDT in QIWS and do have have read access to it ? ACS
will not show any multi-member files. The only file I have in QIWS that
qualifies is QCUSTCDT.
2. Do you have a statement before your select NOT ending in ; ?
3. Do you have any statements after your select, if so use
select * from qiws.q; and place your cursor between the q and
the ; before using Ctrl+space

I hope this helps
