Actually, it may only have 4 pins (as does single-phase 240VAC with a neutral).

At the Printing Museum (https://www.printmuseum.org), we've standardized on a specific size and configuration of 4-pin twist-lock 3-phase plugs for our 240V plugs and sockets, even if we're plugging in single-phase equipment.

(I spend my Saturdays docenting there; it was because I'm a programmer by trade that I was the first one there to realize that the notches at the top of a Linotype matrix form a binary code.)
