RE: where are stored procedures on IBM i

While you may or may not think the physical object is in the library specified they are saved with the library. Let me try to clarify that.

cl: crtlib robjer;
set schema = 'ROBJER';

CREATE PROCEDURE REMOVE_DELETED_ROWS
LANGUAGE SQL
MODIFIES SQL DATA
SET OPTION DATFMT = *ISO
P1: BEGIN
...
END P1
;

-- ftp the file over to our GDI lpar
disconnect all;
connect to gdi;
cl: rstlib robjer dev(*savf) savf(rob/robjer);
select *
from qsys2.sysprocs
where SPECIFIC_NAME = 'REMOVE_DELETED_ROWS';
And it's there.
