Choice programs only allow you to alter the text shown for the choices on the command when prompted, or when a user presses F4=Prompt within a particular field.

Look into using a "Prompt Override Program" (POP) for this situation.

when *EMAIL is selected, a new parm is required, our users would like this to be pre-filled with their email address...

I suppose I could have a *DEFAULT value that does the work on the back end command processing program, but would a CHOICEPGM work?

And if so, does someone have a example of this?
