So your oil is SO BAD you're afraid to change it because it might clean out the engine?

Your tires are SO BALD that the new ones, being larger diameter due to actually having tread on them, that your gas mileage will (appear) to fall?

Your refrigerator is SO OLD that you're afraid the food in it will spoil if you move to a newer model?

Your windows are SO DIRTY that you are afraid of what you'll see if you wash them?

As you can imagine, none of these things make any more sense than staying on old PTFs because you are on old PTFs!

Seriously there are ways to get current with minimal risk, and just this discussion of what you are missing points one but one cost of NOT getting current. *sigh*.
