Searching SNDM and AS400 I found a few links. It appears to be open source.

MMAIL I don't believe is free anymore. I think Giovanni charges a yearly
fee (maybe it's one time.. not sure).

Either way, IBM commands or ones that use QtmmSendMail all rely on the
proper setup to work with Office 365 or other cloud email services (or the
use of an intermediate mail proxy that does the heavy lifting).

Just remember when all these places move away from standard user/pw
authentication, as Gmail is already heading towards, other methods of
authentication will be needed... such as OAuth 2.0. Already built into
MAILTOOL... for over 5 years now.

Their goal is not to migrate from SNDDST to SNDM; it's (at least as I
understand it) to be certain that when they make whatever changes they
need to make, in order for SNDDST to continue working, they will also
know what additional changes (if any) they need to make for SNDM to
continue working as well. Probably along with QtmmSendMail as well.

I *think* this SNDM was something already on the box; I'm pretty sure
that usually, if I install something for email, I go with Giovanni
Perotti's MMAIL, because it's free and functional.
