The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

IBM did say that if this wasn't a production system, they'd recommend
uninstalling Apache, Java and PASE, and then reinstalling.
I remember solving an issue with Navigator for i (the heritage one)
using the following way, read saving objects and restoring them on
themselves:
* bring the system to restricted state
* save 5770SS1 option 3 (extended base directory support), programs
and language objects into two save files, with SAVLICPGM command
* restore both programs and languages objects of 5770SS1 option 3
using the save files used in previous stemp, with RSTLICPGM command
It looks like using RSTLICPGM command performs some extra operations on
top of restoring objects. You will see an invocation to some exit
programs in the job log when using this command. For instance, those
exit programs might apply proper authorizations. This is also the case
with CHKPRDOPT command, but in our case, this one was not successful,
while RSTLICPGM was.
The advantage of this method is that it does not involve any PTF
activity. The issue was not the same as yours but was similar in the way
that we could not get any valuable logs. The system was not up-to-date
regarding the PTF groups but, for some reasons, installing the last
level of HTTP group was not an option.
You can try to use this method for 5770SS1 option 3, which retains
Navigator for i objects and files, first, then for the other products
listed by IBM.
iNav is still hands-down better for my needs anyway, so I'm in no rush.

Whoa, that is complete silliness! Memory protection errors, yikes.
If this were a PC, I'd re-install the operating system :)
