I would say report the problem as is and offer to remove the PTF if they believe that would assist in their effort.
Create the problem online.
Before you do, load up MGTOOLS on the system.
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/mustgather-how-obtain-and-install-qmgtools-and-keep-it-current
GO MENU(QMGTOOLS/MG)
First run this until no changes occur:
13. Check IBM for updated QMGTOOLS
There was one update that was nasty. However it seems to want to upgrade to that and if you upgrade again it will get past it. So I repeat, run 13 until no changes occur.
Once there are no more updates then run: 1. System Snapshot
Normally the defaults will be fine. If you change from the defaults on some options it may take significantly longer. Therefore only vary from the defaults upon instructions to do so.
This snapshot will get ptf listings and a lot more.
When it is done it will give you a stream file name. Use that in 10. FTP data to IBM
See also: 11. View FTP to IBM statuses
This ftp transmission is normally pretty fast (with defaults anyway).

If you open a pmr without MG data the odds are high they will need it anyway so just do it immediately after opening the case online.

MG = MustGather.

Be confident. Think positive. It will work out. IDK when the last time was that I've gone two weeks without having an open case.
